The Columbus East Girls Swimming and Diving team lost to Hoosier Hills Conference opponent, the Seymour Owls, last night 107-74. The East girls matched the Owls with six event wins. Connelly Furnish emerged as a standout, leading the Olympians with victories in the 200 IM (2:20.47) and the 100 butterfly (1:05.33). Gabbie Meier secured success in diving with an impressive score of 220.35, while Cassidy Furnish triumphed in the 500 freestyle (5:54.94). East's did well in the relay events, claiming victory in the 200 freestyle (1:50.91) and the 400 freestyle (4:03.52).
