Olympians drop conference game to the Owls

The Olympians dropped a Hoosier Hills conference game against the Seymour Owls, 5-1, on Thursday night at Olympian Field. Freshman pitcher J.D. Rotert pitched a solid 5 innings for the Olympians, giving up only 2 earned runs, four strikeouts, four walks, and one hit. Senior Blake Borkhardt was the lone player with a hit, a single in the 1st inning. Bige Asher and A.J. Tindell pitched the final two innings for the Olympians. The Olympians host another conference foe on Saturday, April 6th, as they host the Floy Central Highlanders at 12 p.m. It's also Columbus East Baseball Alumni Day, with all kinds of special events happening before the game.
