Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls golf team finished 12th in the Bloomington North Invitational on Saturday at Cascades. The Olympians posted a team score of 411 in a competitive field, where top-ranked Westfield claimed the victory with a 299. Abby King led the way for East, shooting a 96. Grace LaSell followed with a 98, while Sophia Begley added a 106. Allison Sharpe contributed a 111, and Amaylie Walsh rounded out the team’s effort with a 121. Columbus East continues to build experience as the season progresses. The O's tee it up again on Tuesday, September 17th, as they face their cross-town rival, the Columbus North Bulldogs at Harrison Lake G.C. Match time: 4:15 p.m.
