Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls tennis team traveled to Greensburg High School Monday evening and came up short in a 5-0 defeat. The Olympians were unable to take a set in the match. At No. 1 singles, Lauren Degner fell 6-1, 6-1. Lilli Smith lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Bruna Carreira dropped her match 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. In doubles action, Saya Hauser and Zoe White fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. At No. 2 doubles, Luci Morales and Stefani Christopher lost 6-2, 6-1. Columbus East (0-6) will be hosting the Whiteland Warriors tonight starting 5 p.m.
