Olympians Fall to Seymour, Face Quick Turnaround Against Jennings County

After a rain-soaked delay a few weeks ago, the Columbus East Olympians returned to Seymour High School on Tuesday night (April 30) to resume their Hoosier Hills Conference matchup against the Seymour Owls. The original game had been paused early due to rain, thunder, and lightning, with the Olympians trailing 10-1. Following conference rules that require all incomplete games must be completed, the two teams picked up where they left off. Unfortunately for East, the outcome didn’t improve, as they ultimately fell 11-1 to the Owls. The Olympians won’t have much time to dwell on the loss, as they hit the road again tonight (May 1) for another conference clash—this time against the Jennings County Panthers.
