Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls golf team squared off with one of the state’s top programs Monday evening, falling to Class 3A No. 9 Batesville, 151-214. Abby King paced the Olympians with a team-best 47. Calleigh Gill followed with a 51, while Emma Gill carded a 55. Rounding out the scoring for East were Sofia Perez and Kolbi Stephenson, who each finished with a 61, and Amaylie Walsh with a 65. The Olympians continue their season when they face the Madison Cubs, Wednesday, August 27th starting at 5 p.m. in Madison, IN. Good luck O's!
