Freshman O’s Win 22-12 Over Rival Bulldogs

The Columbus East freshman football team made the short trip across town Saturday morning and returned home with a 22-12 victory over Columbus North. The Olympians struck with three touchdowns on the day, highlighted by a pair of scores from Draven Day and another from Owen Hatfield. East’s offense capitalized on key drives, while the defense and special teams made big plays to help secure the win. The O’s forced several turnovers that turned momentum in their favor, with Van Moravec, Jayden Wilcox, and Frank Phillips all coming up with key takeaways. With the win, the East freshmen claimed bragging rights in the rivalry and continued to build momentum for the season ahead.
