Columbus East High School

The Columbus East girls golf team used Saturday’s Bloomington North Invitational at Cascades Golf Course as a chance to preview the course that will host the sectional later this month. The Olympians posted a team score of 426, placing 14th in the field. Abby King led East with a round of 105, followed by Calleigh Gill’s 108. Amaylie Walsh and Emma Gill each recorded a 110, while Sofia Perez rounded out the team with a 117. With sectional play less than two weeks away, the invitational provided valuable experience for the Olympians as they prepare for the postseason. The O's will be back in action on Monday, September 15th when they head to Jeffersonville, IN to compete in the Hoosier Hills Conference tournament. Start time: 12 p.m. Good luck Olympians!
